At Su’Coy CLC, every training follows a clear, step-by-step learning path. EPA Section 608 preparation is built directly into the HVAC Technician Training program. Students learn refrigerant-handling rules, recovery concepts, safety practices, and exam-related fundamentals. The course explains what the certification covers and why it matters in HVAC work. Certification is earned separately by passing the applicable EPA Section 608 examination.
HVAC work requires technical knowledge, but successful careers also depend on business skills. I know this is a very detailed review, but if you are looking to invest in your future then the details should matter. I was a stay at home dad for a couple of years and my wife and I decided that we should go back to a two income household do to the steady climb of inflation in today’s economy. I was looking for a hands on trade that is AI and recession proof and HVAC checked all the boxes for me. I researched numerous trade schools and the reviews that stood out for SuCoy Community Learning Center is all the students reviews appreciated the hands on learning approach versus reviews from other trade schools where the students were complaining about the school being mostly book work. So I signed up for SuCoy Community Learning Center HVAC class and prayed that I was making the right decision. The very same day Mr. SuCoy himself reached out to me and thanked me for choosing his school and told me he would be teaching the class. He asked me why am I choosing to start a career in HVAC and shared his personal journey working in the trade. What I remember most about my conversation with Mr. SuCoy is his passion for giving people in our community opportunity for generational wealth thru HVAC. By the end of our conversation I felt like my prayer have been answered. So the classes definitely lived up to the hands on reviews. All the equipment and tools are in class that’s needed to provide a foundational knowledge of the trade. But what impressed me most about the class is Mr.SuCoy not only teach how to become a great technician in the trade but also how to create business opportunity for ourselves. He literally laid out the blueprint on how to start our own HVAC business. He gave us all his business contacts he use to run his business. Another super benefit to the class is Mr. Sucoy gave every student the opportunity to work along side his technician on actually HVAC jobs which gave me the real work experience of a HVAC technician.
